General Chat Language
English Only in General Chat
Voxel Stories is primarily an English-speaking server. General chat should be kept in English so staff can moderate effectively and all players can participate.
Consistently using other languages in general chat may result in escalating mutes and, if ignored, further disciplinary action. Private messages and language-specific channels (where available) are exempt.
Usernames
No Offensive or Inappropriate Usernames
Usernames must not contain offensive, derogatory, or inappropriate content. This includes (but is not limited to) swear words, hate speech, racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory terms.
Players with offensive usernames will be removed from the server until the name is changed. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Staff Authority
Respect and Follow Staff Instructions
Staff instructions must be followed at all times. Moderators and Admins act to maintain a fair and enjoyable environment for everyone.
If you disagree with a Moderator’s decision, you may calmly appeal to an Admin via appropriate channels. If you disagree with an Admin decision, you may contact the server owner (Ricksterm). Public arguments or refusal to comply will not be tolerated.
Staff Interaction
Do Not Harass or Pressure Staff
Staff are not on-demand support. Do not repeatedly message staff to review your builds, answer questions already covered in the rules, or request assistance that other players can provide.
Do not ask staff for free items, ranks, special treatment, or help building or dismantling structures.
Chat Conduct
Keep Chat Open, Respectful, and Positive
Do not monopolise the chat. General chat is a shared space for everyone. If you are dominating the conversation or speaking to yourself excessively, please tone it down.
Negativity, attention-seeking behaviour, or disruptive messaging detracts from the experience. Players are here to have fun—positivity and respect are expected.
Content Sharing
No Adult or Extreme Content
Sharing or linking to adult content is strictly prohibited. This includes pornography, sexual content, and media depicting extreme or graphic violence.
When in doubt, do not share it.
Profanity
No Excessive Swearing
Moderate swearing may be acceptable in context (e.g., storytelling or humour), but excessive or constant profanity is not.
Keep language reasonable and appropriate for a mixed community.
Behaviour
Zero Tolerance for Abuse or Discrimination
The following behavior is not allowed under any circumstances:
Harassment or bullying
Trolling or targeted disruption
Insults or verbal abuse
Unwanted private messages
Sexism, racism, homophobia, ageism, or discriminatory language
Advertising
No Advertising or Self-Promotion
This applies to all forms of communication, public or private.
Advertising other servers, services, communities, or content is not permitted. This includes general chat, private messages, and any official server platforms.
If you wish to promote something, please use appropriate external platforms.
